i have microsoft office 2003 but i have some 2007 office files on my usb drive but when i try to open it with office 2003, it does work. what am i supposed to do? is there like a converter because i downloaded the service pack and stuff like dat but still nothing happened

Download the compatibility pack from microsoft (it’s free)

Open them in 2007 and then go to SAVE AS on the file menu.
Down at the bottom it should give you a ‘SAVE AS TYPE’ option.

Save them as word 2003
