what u need to do is in the “save as” section, save it as an office 97. if it comes up with a warning about corroption on the 2003 version ignore it

Save as the file with “Word 97 – 2003 Document” format.
To do so…
1. Open the file.
2. Click on Save As from main menu (Office button – where you see new, open, save, save as etc. ),
3. Then click on Word 97 – 2003 Document.
4. Save it.
Hope it will work.
Thanks,
Farhad

Hi, u can install Office 2003 and 2007 on Windows Vista and there r 2 ways to open office 2007 files in Office 2003.
Office 2007 has new file formats for example instead of the old .doc documents we have .docx.
First u can save your document in office 2007 using the old office 2003 formats or u can install this patch in your office 2003 computers to open the new office 2007 file formats.
