    @onepie57 The version in this demo is the Pinnacle Studio Ultimate Collection…which comes with all of the content for Studio. Do you have the Ultimate Collection? If yes, then you should be able to see and do everything in this tutorial.
    Cheers,
    Anthony

    i tried this but it says that i need to “upgrade” in order to add two menus to my project.
    i bought the studio movie box HD if that makes a difference. thanks!

    and the version that came in the box (version 14) doesnt have all the buttons and options he mentioned above like “auto scene index” “manual” and “set return” “motion thumbnail” etc. help?

    @AnthonyMartorina
    The image was in 1280×720 resolution, the same resolution as the videos that I used in the project.

    However, I solved the problem by making a hd video file of that image, 30 seconds still image in the hd video file. Then I edited the menu and used that “video” as a backround instead of using the traditional still image –> the result looks great! now :)

    The developers of Pinnacle studio should anyway test if they can reproduce the case I had earlier.

    Oh cool! But i LIKE WinX DVD Author. It is easy to use and fast, free.

  7. AnthonyMartorina says:

    @arpw3 Is the image in a 16 x 9 format?

    Hi! I’ve done many dvds with custom menus using the standard menu editor (not the motion menu editor). Studio 14 has worked great!

    However, when I’m trying to do a HD version (bluray) of the same project, the menu, or actually it’s backround get’s VERY pixelated. The buttons seems to be ok but the backround is far worse than in a regular dvd version.

    I’m using a HD resolution still image as those menu backrounds.

    Anthony, do you know how I could try to fix this? :)

  10. AnthonyMartorina says:

    @realjuvelive I hate to say this but it sounds like it is a computer problem. Are you running the minimum specs or above for the software?
    Cheers,
    Anthony

    does not respond I have to wait for long minutes to get back running it really sucks maybe I have to get another software which works better!

    thank you so much. this did help me. burning my first DVD from the tatorial .

  14. AnthonyMartorina says:

    @nickflix1 No bother at all. Pinnacle Studio will automatically add extra menu pages depending on the number of chapter points you have vs buttons you have per menu. To fix the Next Buttons, Select Edit Menu Button and then click on button and go to drop down button and select “Normal Button”. The button you are using is default as a “Next Button”.
    Cheers,
    Anthony

    @FrietjeM I am not quite sure what happen there. It could have been the media. Did you try burning another disc or using different media ( a different disc brand)?

    Sincerely,
    Anthony

  16. nickflix1 says:

    Hi. Sorry to bother you. But how do you make multiple menus? Like, I have about 21 chapters, and I can’t fit them all on one menu screen, yet I’m having trouble with it being a next button. Can you help or point me in the direction of another tutorial? Because the Avid and Pinnacle sites have links to how to do multiple menus, yet it doesn’t come up, like the page has been disabled. Thanks.

  17. FrietjeM says:

    @AnthonyMartorina
